Legacy of Queen Ester Rowe

Queen Ester Rowe embodied the very essence of compassion, love, and virtue throughout her remarkable life in Dadeville, Alabama. As a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend, she understood that true fulfillment came through service to others and investment in the next generation. Her deep faith was evident in her active church involvement, where she served as General President of Choirs (present-day Director of Choirs/Minister of Music) and held many other leadership roles and positions within her congregation.

For twenty-seven years, Mrs. Queen Ester—as she was lovingly known throughout the community—dedicated herself to early childhood education as a Head Start teacher with the Community Action Agency, serving families across Chambers, Elmore, and Tallapoosa counties. Her classroom was more than a place of learning; it was a sanctuary where young minds were nurtured and futures were shaped with unwavering dedication and care.

Mrs. Queen Ester possessed an extraordinary gift for recognizing potential in every individual she encountered. Her generosity knew no bounds—she opened her heart, her home, and her resources to those in need. Whether furnishing homes for young mothers, mentoring young women into successful adulthood, or providing counseling and Christian guidance to those seeking direction, she approached each act of kindness with genuine love and purpose.

Upon her retirement from the Community Action Agency, Mrs. Queen Ester embraced entrepreneurship as the owner and operator of Little Lambs Daycare. This venture represented the perfect culmination of her life's work—a place where she could continue to love, nurture, and teach children from infancy while also guiding parents in their journey of growth and responsibility. Her daycare became a beacon of trust in the community, where families knew their most precious gifts were in the hands of someone who truly cared.

Though Mrs. Queen Ester received her Crown of Life at the tender age of fifty-seven, her legacy continues to illuminate countless lives. Her example of selfless service, educational excellence, and boundless compassion serves as the foundation and inspiration for Queen's Place, ensuring that her mission of empowering others through education and love will endure for generations to come.

In honoring Queen Ester Rowe, we celebrate not just a remarkable woman, but a timeless vision of what it means to live a life of purpose, impact, and unconditional love.
