About QLC

  • Mission Statement
Queen's Learning Collective is dedicated to breaking the cycle of educational inequality by providing comprehensive literacy and learning support to underserved individuals and families. Inspired by the legacy of Queen Ester Rowe, we believe that education is the foundation of empowerment and opportunity. Our mission is to create pathways to success through innovative programming, community partnerships, and wrap-around services that address the diverse learning needs of our community.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where learners of all ages can develop essential skills, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Through our collaborative approach, we work alongside community members, educators, and local organizations to create sustainable solutions that strengthen our community from within.

    Vision Statement
We envision a community where every individual has access to quality educational opportunities and the support needed to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Queen's Learning Collective strives to be the catalyst for transformational change, creating a future where educational excellence is not determined by circumstance, but by commitment and community support.

Our vision is a world where the barriers to learning are removed, where every person is empowered with the knowledge and skills to build a brighter future, and where the legacy of compassionate education continues to flourish for generations to come.

    Family Opening Gift
  • As the non-profit foundation supporting Queen's Place, Queen's Learning Collective believes that education is the most powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty and creating generational change. We measure our impact not just in test scores or certificates earned, but in the single mother who gains the skills to secure a better job, the immigrant who finds their voice in a new language, the child who discovers a love of reading, and the adult who earns their GED after years of trying.

These individual victories create ripples that strengthen entire families and communities. Together with our partners, volunteers, donors, and the communities we serve, we're proving that when barriers to education fall, potential rises—and entire communities are lifted.
